After collecting Bahnschutz personally for many years, I can tell you that the Bahnschutz flags (trumpet banners, standards, schellembaums, car pennants) are by far some of the rarest of the Third Reich flags. There are only three of the standards known to exist, making it the second rarest of the standards. and after collecting data from collectors and dealers from around the world I have determined the there are only five trumpet banners known. the other four in my opinion will never come out of the collections.So here is your chance to own a trumpet banner that you have never seen up for sale and will probably never be again.

This banner is one of the later models make from a three piece cotton construction with fantastic silver bullion fringe with the cloth tie ups. this is one of the cleanest over all of the banners I have seen. Even if you are not a Bahnschutz or flag collector I think most people consider this one of the best designs of all the Third Reich branches and will look great with any collection. Here is what could be literally a chance in a life time to get one of these.  

I think this is a great value conciedering the rarity and price of other banners. Several books are due out on the german railway and once they do i am sure the prices will only skyrocket.
